a very sweet project...

I made this a few months ago for a sweet girl who lost her mother last year to cancer.  She brought me the dress her mother wore in her wedding to make something out of and this is what we came up with.  She has a bear to give to her daughter.  The bow around it's neck has the brooch from the dress and a pillow for her.  The front of the pillow even has the beadwork from the front of the dress.  Such a sweet way to keep her mothers dress as a memory rather than hanging it in the closet!
